I'm getting married NEXT MONTH!!

Over the weekend i found out what is being said to me for not inviting some cousins to the wedding reception. (they're invited to the after dance).

Apparently i'm a snooty bitch, and i should have invited them as a family. What the fuck ever.

There is such a double standard here it's not funny, my parents have been invited to weddings of two of their children where i have only been invited to the after dance. One of the girls in the family is better friends with me than the others so she got invited to the whole thing along with her husband.

Apparenly i've caused the family feud of the century. My grandpa would not be pleased.

AND

the future mother in law has decided that we did not invite enough people from their side of the family (i counted up the other night it was a 50/50 split), most of them declined which is not my fault but she thinks that people from their side should be invited in their place...um...no. I've invited more people from my side because they will actually show up and i'm not inviting people that i've never met just so that they feel their numbers are even.

RSVP lazy

I had a million RSVP cards made for the wedding...our reply date was November 1st. My family have all sent theirs back promptly...his family have...not.

The dress, the dress!

...is on it's way! I called to enquire and the lady said they had received advice that the dress had been shipped. yay.

Beauty Therapy

Every few weeks I go to my beauty therapist to have her pull, poke, pluck every part of my body to remove it of hair and put random combinations of chemical and plant extracts on my body to make it beautiful.

Or so the theory goes anyway.

I'm starting to transform into my bridal body...i'm skinny (for once) thanks to the help of some diet pills and careful eating. (screw you carbs!). I'm starting the round of treatments and on saturday my hair will be getting the transformed.

But is my wedding day the only time i'm going to be truly happy with myself?

New blog.

I guess my last blog was a period of transition for me, the time between leaving high school, going to university and finding out who I was in between everything else.

I'm just not in that place anymore. The last time i blogged was back in February, the day before i got engaged.

Now, I'm just over three months out from getting married.

So here it is...my new blog, a place for me to find out who i am now. And i guess over the next few months, a place for me to post my neurotic bride comments.

I'm not 100% sure on the name chardonnay, i guess we'll see.
